ERA is currently in Darwin attending the 2023 Ecological Society of Restoration Conference – Nature and People as One: Celebrating and Restoring Connection<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference encourages restoration specialists from around the world \u201cto consider our own relationship with nature, and the interweaving of human and ecological wellbeing<\/em>\u201d.  Conference topics included restoration monitoring and management in different ecosystems, the importance of Indigenous voices in restoration activities and recent innovations in restoration ecology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Principal Ecologist Dr Jo Isaac presented twice at the conference, firstly on ERA\u2019s rope bridge building community workshop<\/a> project, and then on our artificial hollow creation<\/a> project in Wombat State Forest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference was a wonderful opportunity to hear from, and connect, with ecological restoration practitioners from within Australia and around the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
