13 December 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ERA recently installed close to 100 metres of rope bridge in storm affected vegetation in the Yarra Ranges Shire. \u00a0The bridges will connect remaining canopy, meaning that arboreal marsupials like possums and gliders don\u2019t need to come down to the ground as much, where they are at risk from predators. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wildlife rope bridges were built by members of the community and students from Healesville Primary School, as part of our wildlife rope bridge project in partnership with Yarra Ranges Council and Eco Warriors Australia<\/a>. Please see here<\/a> for more details on this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our dedicated team of arborists did a great job of installing the rope bridges in some tricky terrain and warm conditions!  Check out the photos below to see them in action and stay tuned for the results of camera monitoring to see who uses these \u201ccanopy highways\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
