14 November 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are excited to announce that, in partnership with Eco Warriors Australia<\/a>, we have received funding from Brimbank City Council to run our Planting the Seed program with students from Ardeer Primary School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be working with students to revegetate “Verdant Woodlands”, an area adjacent to Kororoit Creek, with the aim to create additional habitat and connections for local wildlife along the Kororoit Creek. Students will have the opportunity to celebrate Aboriginal culture and heritage through our cultural heritage sessions, and learn how to connect with and care for our environment using wisdom from indigenous cultures through the Wayapa Wuurrk wellbeing program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Mifsud, Principal of Ardeer Primary School, says that “the “Planting the Seed” program\u2026 will provide invaluable educational experiences for students while contributing to the restoration and conservation of local
native vegetation”. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
