Our ecologists, in partnership with project partner Eco Warriors Australia, recently ran two sessions with the local community in Maroondah to build wildlife habitat pods for small animals such as frogs and lizards.
The sessions were a lot of fun and a great opportunity to learn about local wildlife. Members of the Maroondah community-built habitat pods from clay at Warrien Reserve, with some very creative decorations!
We recently installed the habitat pods to create additional habitat in Warrien Reserve, Croydon and Scott St Reserve, Heathmont and will monitor the pods. Stay tuned!
