Wildlife Rope Bridge Workshop FAQ

Who can do your workshops?

We welcome all members of the community.  We find that are workshops are popular with schools, Friends of and other environmental groups, Scouts groups and CFA groups.  They are also a great team building exercise!

Will you teach me how to build the rope bridges?

Yes! We will demonstrate how to build a wildlife rope bridge, and then help you until you get the hang of it.  We’re happy to answer any questions that you have along the way.

How long does each session last for?

Sessions normally run for two hours.

How much does it cost?

Sessions start at $300 (incl. GST) for a two-hour session.  This includes all rope and other supplies but does not include refreshments.

Are your sessions suitable for children?

Yes! We find that children aged 9+ get the most out of our workshops.

Where are the workshops held?

We run workshops across metropolitan Melbourne and we will come to you. Locations outside of metropolitan Melbourne may incur an additional travel charge.  Please contact us if you would like more detail.

How big a space do I need.

Our rope bridges can be up to 15metres long, so a large meeting room, school gym, library or community space is suitable. We can also run workshops outside when the weather is fine.

What happens to the bridges after they are built?

You are welcome to keep the bridges that you have built and install them in a suitable area for wildlife. Otherwise, we can donate them to our partners at Eco Warriors Australia to install in areas following a natural disaster (eg. fire, storms). Please get in touch with us if you would like to discuss these or other options.
