ERA is excited to announce that, in partnership with Eco Warriors Australia, we have received a grant for the Planting the Seed program from Hepburn Shire Council.
ERA will help to revegetate an area of damaged roadside vegetation along Bullarto South Road, about halfway between Daylesford and Trentham. Bullarto South Primary School is a small school so we will be working with the whole school, with students from prep to Year 6. We will teach students how to collect native plant cuttings/seeds, propagate and care for seedlings, use native plants to revegetate sites and maintain their site post-revegetation. Students will use simple data collection tools to monitor revegetation success.
